YOU ALREADY HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS CHRIST *

We only have two choices on what kind of relationship we have with Jesus.

  1. Refuse God’s plan for your life and live your life for yourself.
  2. Accept God’s plan for your life, and live your life for Him.

Right now, you are searching for God.  I'd like to share with you what the Bible has, to help you find Him.  The Bible has the answers to your life's hardest questions, and will help you understand how to have a right relationship with Him.  Here are some verses I believe will help you.

Jesus is God

For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.  Colossians 2:9

Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20

Jesus cares and loves you very much

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  John 3:16

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.  Romans 5:8

All of us have sinned

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.  Romans 3:23

As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one.  Romans 3:10

God's answer for all our sins

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Romans 6:23

But as many as received Him, to them gave Him power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name.  John 1:12

Read what Jesus says, you can be saved now

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if anyone hears my voice, and opens the door, I will come in to them. Revelation 3:20

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13

But these are written, that you might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you might have life through His name.  John 20:31

Receive Jesus Christ as your Savior now

Jesus I know that I am a sinner.  I ask that You forgive me of my sins.  I believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for me.  I believe that Jesus was raised from death to give me life.  I now receive His gift of salvation and will tell others Jesus is my personal Savior.  Amen.

But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be glory both now and forever. Amen.  II Peter 3:18

Whoever acknowledges me before men, I will also acknowledge him before my Father in heaven. Matthew 10:32

Where should I worship?  Questions for pastors or church leaders.

Let’s pray.  Jesus give me wisdom as I choose a place to worship You.  Amen.

Six questions I would ask pastors or leaders about their church beliefs and teaching.

1. Do you teach Jesus is God and the only way to Heaven? Yes
2. Do you teach the Trinity of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit? Yes
3. Do you teach that there are many Gods? No
4 Do you teach the Bible as the only guide to salvation in Jesus? Yes
5. Do you teach that no one on Earth can replace or stand in place for God? Yes
6. Do you teach God's Unconditional Love or Eternal Security? No

If even one of these questions is answered wrong.  Courteously thank them for their time and say good bye.  Then contact another church.  Jesus will be with you as you ask these questions and will give you the confidence you need.  If you have any questions please email me about choosing a place to worship.

Once you have found a place to worship, keep these questions with you.  Then if it appears they are not abiding by their answers, you will be aware of it.

There’s an old hymn called Onward Christian Soldiers which really describes the life of a believer in Jesus.  Just click above for the words and tune.

The believers promise of their salvation

That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.  Romans 10:9

And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation.  Having believed, you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession--to the prase of His glory.
Ephesians 1:13-14
